What better way to say "Happy Valentine's Day" from television's leader in sports...than with sports? I based these life-like ball, tire and puck emblems on existing stock imagery, which I thereafter warped into appropriately-shaped illustrations with mucho Photoshop love. My retouching/composite skills are quite advanced. (*Note that this poster was repurposed and resized to suit ads of all shapes and sizes, doorhangers, postcards, billboards, counter cards and other mediums — well after Valentine's Day, to tout general sports junkie amor. Numerous pieces were also translated into Spanish, for DIRECTV's Latin American markets.)
